All activities take place at 10 a.m. in the Children’s Corner of the Poetry Center.
Hop on over to the Poetry Center with your favorite 4–8 year olds to play around with poetry. Poetry Joeys is a Saturday morning reading and activity group for children taught by experienced poets, writers, and teaching artists who base their lessons on the Poetry Center’s curriculum VERSE! Poetry for Young Children.
This fall, Poetry Joeys participants will help write lyrics for Mr. Tidy Paws and the Orangetime Fun Band who will serenade concert-goers during their December 13 performance. Come to Poetry Joeys sessions in September, October, and November, and your words just may make the playlist!
